Nebuchadnezzar: The Iron Yoke

Another Scriptural proof that he is the Beast of Revelation

  By Jack L. Frost

Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for that day (is) great, so that none (is) like it: it (is) even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. 8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of host, (that) I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him.

  Introduction

For the past fifteen years, since April of 1980, I have been declaring, preaching, teaching, and writing that the first beast of Revelation chapter 13, verses 2 through 8 and 12, is none other than the ancient king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, who is or will be resurrected from the dead.

At the time of this revelation from the Lord, out of His every word inspired written Word, I had been declaring, since the fall of 1964, that the beast of Revelation would be coming out of the Middle East nation called Iraq. To my knowledge, no one else had been teaching this.

The challenge to "search the Scriptures" as to where the beast would be coming from was first given to me in 1963, in Jasper, Alabama, where I heard the prophetic teacher/author, Arthur Bloomfield, teach that the beast would be of the Assyrian blood line, but that he thought modern-day Germany was the nation of ancient Assyria. Thus, in late 1964, in Miami, Florida, I was challenged to search and prove "where the beast is coming from", and came to the "faithful saying, worthy of all acceptation" (1 Tim. 1:15, 4:9) that it is, without contradiction, Iraq.

Then, in March of 1980, my daughter, Sonya, challenged me as to whom she thought the beast might be when she saw the number threescore and six from the number of the beast in Revelation 13:18 connected to king Nebuchadnezzar's image of gold in Daniel 3:1.

After agreeing to go into the Scriptures to further search out this challenge, pieces to the puzzle or riddle of the number and mark of the beast suddenly began to come together. Then God gave to me the clear understanding of the seven heads who have the name of blasphemy as it is written in Revelation 13:1, connective to the seven kings in Revelation 17:10, and that one of these seven is the eighth as set forth in Revelation 17:11.

Coming into a full search, understanding, and proof of who these seven heads are and to what the name of blasphemy means, it is absolutely unmistakable that Nebuchadnezzar is the one and only of the seven Gentile kings who have rule over the Jews - the land of the Jews - the city, Jerusalem (which also means over the most holy site - the temple site) who can be that anti-Christ (1 John 2:18) or first beast (Rev. 13:12) who will reign once more as the last and final world dominion ruler over all the earth before the "times of the Gentiles" (Luke 21:24) come to an end.

Since God taught me this straight and direct, and only from His Holy written Word, in April of 1980, several other Scriptural proofs have reaffirmed this teaching. Once truth is revealed, it continues to build and be confirmed by new revelations in God's Word, and always without one single, solitary exception found in the Holy Scriptures. Truth can never be confounded, as Jesus Christ of Nazareth declared in John 10:35, The Scripture cannot be broken.

The latest of these continuing revelations came forth in July, 1994, to a Christian lady named Valerie, of Des Moines, Iowa, who first heard of me through Stan Johnson of The prophecy Club in Topeka, Kansas. He has been listening to The End-Time Evangel broadcast over KAAY since I first went on that Little Rock radio station in August, 1990.

Valerie had never heard the broadcast, but heard The Prophecy Club on KDMI in Des Moines. Hearing Stan Johnson mention Iraq, she called him to ask if he knew anyone with any literature or books that spoke of Iraq and King Nebuchadnezzar as being the beast. Stan told her he knew of only one man: Jack L. Frost in Alabama.

She asked for my phone number and then called me just before I left on my last trip to Jamaica this past September. She told me of her search and finding in God's Word that Nebuchadnezzar would be the beast, and how she could prove Nebuchadnezzar through the iron yoke, something I had never searched out and proven.

Thus, the credit of this revelation and find in the Word of God is attributed to Valerie Fast, whom I understand has called various other ministries to challenge them with these Scriptures.

First Prophecy of the "Iron Yoke"

The word "yoke" is given under three numbers (4133,5923, and 6776) in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Holy Bible in the Old Testament. Word number 6776 has a meaning of as a "team" or yoke of oxen. In the first "iron yoke" prophecy, word #5923 is "ole", which means "as a yoke (as imposed on the neck)". This first prophetic reference in the context that connects to Nebuchadnezzar, as I shall prove, is found in Deuteronomy 28:48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all (things): and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

Now, this Scripture was given by Moses to the children of Israel before they were to cross over the River Jordan into the Promised Land. The context or setting for this verse is that if they would hearken unto all the words of the Lord that were given to them, they would be blessed and prosperous (v.1-14). But if they did not do those things that God commanded, they would all be cursed in all that they did (v.15-47). There disobedience would lead to their having a "yoke of iron" put upon their neck by God, who had promised them great blessings if they would obey and hearken to His words. This "yoke of iron" would remain upon them until they would be "destroyed" and removed from their land.

Deuteronomy 28:49 The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, (as swift) as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; 50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young.

Next, note verses 49 and 50, which tell how God would accomplish the Israelite's destruction through the putting on the iron yoke. This nation "from far", as the Scripture will show in the fulfillment of this mosaic prophecy, points to but one nation. Babylon, as the modern-day Iraq. And it points to one king above all others, and that is Nebuchadnezzar. It is Babylon (the Chaldeans) - present-day Iraq - that is the "nation of fierce countenance", which is called a "bitter and hasty nation" in Habbakuk 1:6. Again, this prophecy refers to one (singular) nation.

Note also Daniel 8:21 And the rough goat (is) the king of Grecia: and the great horn that (is) between his eyes (is) the first king. 22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power. 23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full,
a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. 24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify (himself) in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Isaiah 9:4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

Isaiah 10:24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. 25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction. 26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at he rock of Oreb: and (as) his rod (was) upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt. 27 And it shall come to pass in that day, (that) his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

In the context of Scripture given in Isaiah 9:4, we see several connectors that are directly linked to Scriptures in Isaiah 10:24,26, and 27. These connectors are: yoke (9:4; 10:27); burden (9:4; 10:27); rod (9:4; 10:24); staff (9:4; 10:24); shoulder (9:4; 10:27); Midian (9:4; 10:26); Egypt (10:24,26); and finally, in 10:24, who it is being spoken of here as involved in their oppression and burden: "The Assyrian", who, in the same context of Scripture and this prophecy, has "his yoke" broken, taken away and "destroyed" because of "the anointing" (10:27), which is Christ the Messiah - Jesus of Nazareth.

Note Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Micah 5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the check. 2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, (though) thou be little among the thousands of Judah, (yet) out of thee shall he come forth unto me (that is) to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth (have been) from of old, from everlasting.

Micah 5:5 And this (man) shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principle men. 6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver (us) from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

Nebuchadnezzar is the only one of the seven heads of Revelation 13:1 or seven kings of Revelation 17:10 (also the eight in v. 11) who is of the Assyrian bloodline. He is the one who is in his resurrected body "destroyed" by "the anointing" - Christ Jesus - in the "battle of Armageddon" (as in the battle or the day of Midian (Isaiah 9:4)), and this is the setting when he shall be brought down, as described in Isaiah 10:28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages: 29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled. 30 Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. 31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee. 32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand (against) the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem. 33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature (shall be) hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled. 34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.

Also note Isaiah 30:30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of (his) anger, and (with) the flame of a devouring fire, (with) scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. 31 For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, (which) smote with a rod.

Isaiah 31:4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, (he) will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of host come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. 5 As birds flying, so will the LORD of host defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver (it; and) passing over he will preserve it. The Lord is "the Anointing".

Isaiah 14:25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. Note again: "the Assyrian", "yoke", "burden", and "shoulders".

This verse repeats the same word and terms that are applied to a ruler of one specific bloodline: Assyrian. It is directly connective to the King of Babylon, who can only be Nebuchadnezzar, and neither his son Evil-Merodach, nor his sons-in-law Nerigliss, Nabonidis, Evil-Merodach, nor Belshazzar, his grandson, can fulfill his prophecy.

The Assyrian and the Yoke in Nahum

Nahum 1:13 For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.

Again, we see a ruler from the Assyrian bloodline, coming out of Nineveh: "a wicked counsellor". Nahum 1:11 There is (one) come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the LORD, a wicked counsellor.

Here we apply steps 3,4, and 5 of the Seven Steps to God's One Method of Study, as set forth in my booklet of the same name, to learn truth.

Nebuchadnezzar Named by Jeremiah  Connected to the Iron Yoke

Jeremiah 28:12 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah (the prophet), after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, 13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron. 14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beast of the field also.

In this portion of Scripture, especially in verse 14, we have a clear, conclusive proof that the "iron yoke" prophesied by both Moses (in Deuteronomy 28:48-51) and Jeremiah refers directly to King Nebuchadnezzar and the nation of Babylon.

It is also clear when these Scriptures and Jeremiah 25:11 through 13 are searched (investigated thoroughly) that these prophecies have never been completely fulfilled.

The key to this, as I set forth in my Prophecy Series audio cassette lesson #22, is the "seventy years of desolation" that are prophesied by Jeremiah that are to specifically come to pass under the "King of Babylon". These "seventy years" have never fully come to pass.

The Seventy Years Under the King of Babylon - Unfulfilled

Yes, it is true that the children of Israel - both the "house of Jacob" and the "house of Judah" - were down at Babylon in captivity for seventy years.

Yes, this does fulfill Jeremiah 29:10 as it is written, but it does not fulfill Jeremiah 25:11 and 12, which must be fulfilled and accomplished to the letter.

This is the reason it is so important and necessary to understand King Nebuchadnezzar's role personally in end-time Bible prophecy. He is the only king of Babylon who is specifically connected to the "iron yoke" personally, and who is, as the "King of Babylon", called "A king of kings" (Daniel 2:37) and the "head of gold" (Daniel 2:38). There is absolutely no contradiction to this teaching anywhere in all of Holy Scripture. It is a perfectly harmonious Scriptural teaching. As the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, "This is a faithful saying, worthy of all acceptation" (1 Tim. 1:15& 4:9). No one can break this teaching - no one.

Jesus Christ declared, as it is written in John 10:35, The Scripture cannot be broken.

It is provable beyond question or doubt that Nebuchadnezzar alone is the "iron yoke". Nebuchadnezzar is to rule one more time as the" King of Babylon". He has to rule once more for an abbreviated period of time, called by Daniel the prophet in his great book, "the abomination of desolation".

This is why we must have the "tribulation" or "great tribulation" period that will last around three to three and one-half years (no man can know precisely or exactly). This is one of the major reasons that no man can ever know the day and the hour when Jesus will appear a second time, coming in the clouds of glory. It is connective to the "accomplishing" of the seventy years of desolation upon Jerusalem (Daniel 9:27).

King Nebuchadnezzar himself, in his resurrected body that God is giving him as the first fruit of the resurrection of the wicked dead, is the key to understanding how God will accomplish the prophecy of Jeremiah and the "times of the Gentiles" (Luke 21:24). He is the "iron yoke" that God has chosen and was prophesied by Moses and Jeremiah to fulfill His holy Word.

The Beast of Revelation is Coming from Iraq

    By Jack L. Frost

The Word of God prophesies of a "proud and haughty man", a ruler of a small Middle East nation, (Daniel 11:23) who will rise to power, in three distinct steps or stages, to bring about and head up the final Gentile world dominion and government - WITHIN the last seven years of "this generation", in the closing out of the "Gentile Age".

This MAN-RULER is given a number of different descriptive "names or titles" in the Word of God. All of these different names are given so that this man’s identity can be proven to anyone who desires to KNOW the truth about him and his wicked and deceptive system. Also, to deliver their soul from his santanic entrapment , and thus escape the wrath of God that will fall upon every soul that is deceived by him. (Rev.13:8; 14:9; 16:1,2).

In the New Testament, he is referred to by Jesus as a "false Christ" or "Messiah" (Matt. 24:23-26). The Apostle Paul calls him "that man of sin", and also "that wicked". (2Thess. 2:3,8). The Apostle John describes that man-ruler as "that anti-christ, "the beast", and also "the First Beast". (1 John 2:18; Rev. 13:2-4,12).

The inspired, holy writers of the Old Testament,(2 Peter 1:21) also had varied or different titles for this final wicked "false Christ", who shall make claim to being "God". (Ezek. 28:2,6; 2 Thess. 2:3,4). He is called "the Assyrian", (Isa.10:5,24; 14:24-26; 30:31; 31:8; Ezek.31:3; Micah 5:5,6). "The King of Assyria", (Isa.14:4-7; Jer.25:11-13). "The Prince of Tyrus", (Ezek. 28:2-9). "The prince that shall come", (Dan. 9:26,27) "the little horn", (Dan. 7:8: 8:9) and "The King of the North". (Dan. 11:40-45)

WHERE IS HE FROM - IRAQ

It was in 1964, while searching the scriptures and studying World History and the geographies of the first World Empires, that God taught me the keys to understanding WHERE "the beast", the final world government ruler before the second coming of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, would be coming from.

THE FIRST KEY

Alexander the Greats' Four Successors

While studying the book of Daniel and noting the succession of world dominion power from the first World Empire of Babylon to the Media - Persia, then to the third of Greece, my attention was arrested in Daniel 8:8,9.

The Prophecy of verse eight (written over two hundred years before it was fulfilled) was specifically referring to the reign of Alexander the Great, who was the great "he goat" who smote and defeated the second World Empire of Media-Persia. Alexander rose to great strength and world dominion before he died suddenly at the age of thirty-three in King Nebuchadnezzar’s palace in Babylon in 323 B.C.

When Alexander died, his kingdom was divided among his four generals, according to the general’s domain-NORTH, EAST, SOUTH, and WEST. This was because no one man or general had the power of influence to succeed him in total individual leadership. Therefore, in fulfillment of Daniel’s prophecy, the kingdom was left to "the four winds of heaven", once the great horn was broken. (Dan.1:7; Dan.8:8; Dan.11:2- 4).

THE NOTABLE VERSE

The notable key verse to unlocking the door to understanding is found in Daniel 8:9, "And OUT OF ONE OF THEM came forth A LITTLE HORN, which waxed exceeding great, toward the South, and toward East, and toward the pleasant land".

Reading verses ten through twelve and then verses seventeen through twenty-six, it becomes an absolute certainty that the "little horn" in verses 9-12 is the same "horn" or King" described in verses 23-25.

Therefore, it is a scriptural fact or proof that this "little horn" of Daniel 8:9-12, who wars against "the host of heaven", is the same "King" who is called "the beast" in Revelation 13:2-8, who wars against the saints of God. (Daniel 7:21: Rev. 13:7).

THE KEY TO THE EXACT REGION

The key to which one of the four regions that "the beast" or "little horn" is to come out of is not found or given until we study Daniel Chapter 11.

(Daniel 8:9) Beginning in verse 2, we find another prophetic description of the change of power from the second World Empire, Media-Persia, into the third World Empire of Greece. Then in verse 4,we find again the kingdom being "divided toward the four winds of heaven". And then note carefully, "even for others besides those".

Now beginning in verse 6 of Chapter 11, throughout the remaining verses of the chapter, we find no mention of the east or west regions, but only the south and the north. Beginning in verse 21, and on through verse 45, we find a King that comes into power out of the North, who is the "little horn" described in Daniel 8:9-12,Dan.8:23-25 and Rev. 13:2-8. He is the "King" or "Ruler" who breaks the "Holy Covenant" by "cutting off" the daily sacrifice and places the "abomination that maketh desolate". (Daniel 8:11,12; Dan.11:29-31).

THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY

Since we have established that the "little horn" or "the beast" is coming out of the northern sector of Alexander’s Empire, we must now establish the boundaries of this sector so as to locate and pinpoint the exact or precise nation that he is coming from.

The northern sector of Alexander’s kingdom includes Lebanon, Syria, Eastern Turkey, and Northwestern, Western, and Central present-day Iraq.

The southern sector was Egypt, and thus we have the depiction and geographical makeup for the final conflicts that will determine who will control the Middle East, of which Jerusalem and Judah (present-day Israel) will be caught in the middle.

THE NATION - IRAQ

There are a number of scriptural precepts that will prove beyond any question that IRAQ is the nation located within what was once the northern sector of Alexander’s Empire. This is where the "little horn" or "the beast of Revelation is coming from or "out of ’’.

FIRST SCRIPTURAL PROOF

The first proof is found within the book of Daniel itself in the eleventh chapter and thirtieth verse. The previous verse is speaking of the "King of the North", who at the time appointed, comes toward the South or Egypt. Verse 30 states that "the ships of Chittim", which is Cyprus, and also where the USA’s sixth naval fleet is located, shall come against them. (Dan. 11:29,30).

Now take note of the prophet Balaam’s end-time prophecy recorded in Numbers 24:24. "And the ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish forever".

Please note the perfect harmony between Dan.11:30 and Num.24:24. Also note in this prophecy exactly who the "ships of Chittim" shall be afflicting. They shall be afflicting Asshur, which also translates in the Hebrew as "Assyria". (See "Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance")

Then note Eber, from which is formed Hebrew, who fathered Peleg; who fathered Rue; who begat Serug; who begat Nahor; who begat Tereh; who begat Abram; who’s name God changed to Abraham. (Genesis 10:25; Gen.11:16-26)

ABRAM FROM CHALDEA

Now please note that Abraham was a direct descendant from Eber. And note where Abram was born and raised before he was called by God to leave his homeland - - "Ur of the Chaldees". (Genesis 11:28,31; Acts 7:2- 4)

Therefore it is scripturally clear that both Asshur or Assyria, and Eber or Chaldea, are both located within the present nation of Iraq. Iraq translated from Arabic means "Mesopotamia" or the land between two rivers, which are the Tigres and Euphrates.

So the conclusive and provable meaning of Dan.11: 30 and Num. 24:24 is that "the King of the North", who will come against "the King of the South", will be coming from or "out of " the present-day nation of Iraq. But they will be afflicted by "the ships of Chittim" or Cyprus, where the U.S. Navel Fleet is based in the Mediterranean Sea.

Following this defeat or set back, the "King of the North" will turn and "change" against the "Holy Covenant" of Daniel. This covenant will allow the Jews to renew their daily sacrifice on their "Holy Site" in Jerusalem and also to rebuild their temple. (Dan. 11:31,32; Hab.1:11)

SECOND SCRIPTURAL PROOF

The second proof from the scriptures we use is found in the Old Testament book of Habakkuk. Hab.1: 5 reads, "Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you".

What is the "work" that God will work which those among the heathen, or Gentile, will not believe though it be told you or though a man declare it unto you? (Acts 13:41) The answer begins in verse six of Habakkuk and continues throughout chapter one.

Habakkuk 1:6 states, "For lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breath of the land to possess the dwelling places that are not theirs". Where are the Chaldeans? Chaldea is a region in the Southeastern portion of present-day Iraq, where the offspring of Abram’s ancestry still live, where he also came out of. (Acts 7:2-4) This is also where the people, who united with and f o l l o w e d Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon in his first World Empire, came from.

Habakkuk 1:7 declares, "They are terrible and dreadful: Their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. (Vs. 8) Their horses are swifter than leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horseman shall come from far; (great distances) they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat". PLEASE NOTE that they shall spread themselves, come from far and fly. Obviously, this prophecy is concerning the Chaldeans of Iraq, and has yet to be fulfilled.

Now let’s note that on through verses nine and ten the designation of who it is and how it changes to "they" in the plural. However, in Hab.1:11, we see that instead of "they" it changes to "his/he" and "his" is mentioned twice more in the singular. WHY? Because the reading of verse eleven makes obvious that this is the same individual or man being prophesied of and also the exact same events. This is also seen in other scriptural precepts such as Dan. 11:29-45.

A further and final scriptural proof of this is found in Hab.2:2,3. These precepts, referring to the burden or vision shown to the prophet, simply state, "And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it shall speak (come to pass) and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry". This settles the vision for the raising of the Chaldeans, as a conquering nation again with a cruel and wicked leader to lead them. This vision is set for the appointed time of the end.

IRAQ is destined to rise to WORLD POWER again, following the leadership of a man called by scripture, "the beast". WHO WILL BELIEVE?

OTHER PROOFS – IRAQ

There are a number of other i r r e f u t a b l e scriptural proofs that the "little horn" or the "King of the North" is coming from the Middle East nation of Iraq. "The Beast" found in the book of Revelation, is the same man named as the "little horn" in the book of Daniel the prophet.

One of the proofs is recorded in Isaiah 10:5-27. Verses twelve, twenty, and twenty-seven are the key precepts that lock this "Assyrian" and "The King of Assyria" in as the man whom the Lord will punish. "Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the King of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks". (Isa. 10:12)

Verse twenty states that "in that day", the day of the Lord, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him (the King of Assyria) that smote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth".

Isaiah 10:27 seals the fact that this "King of Assyria" will be in power and in control of the house of Jacob when "the day of the Lord" begins at the time Jesus of Nazareth comes again and breaks "the yoke"; "his yoke" from their neck and "his burden" taken "away from off thy shoulder". This precept clearly reads "in that day" the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Daniel 9:24 speaks of the conclusion of the "seventy weeks" as the time "to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy". Isaiah 30:30,31 also proves the occasion to be the end of the world and "the beast" or "Anti-Christ" is the Assyrian. Likewise, Isaiah 31:4-9 proves the occasion is the second coming of the Lord, the battle of Armageddon. Note verses four and five, "So shall the Lord of host come down and fight for Mount Zion, and for the hill (holy site) thereof. As birds flying, so will the Lord of host defend Jerusalem. Defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it".

In verse seven and eight, note what occurs "in that day", "Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword". (The Word of God – 2 Thess. 2:8) "Not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him". Now note the perfect harmony of Micah 5:5,6, 2Thess.1:7,8, 2Thess. 2:8. Then also examine Ezek. 31:3-9. The "Assyrian" is the same man who is "the beast", "that wicked", and the "little horn", the "King of the North", and the final "false Christ or Messiah". Assyria is within the bounds of present-day Iraq. The "Assyrian" is coming out of Iraq. He will soon come into power there as a ruler, following the fall of the present leader, Saddam Hussein’s, and will succeed Hussein’s successor, who will only be in power for a short period of time. (Dan. 11:19,20; Dan. 21- 45)

This man-ruler is also known and described in many scriptures as the "King of Babylon". In concluding this article, the writer will only refer to Jeremiah 25:11-14. In these precepts, we find positive, undeniable proof that "the Assyrian" or "King of Assyria" that is prophesied of in Isaiah 10:5-27 is the man-ruler prophesied of in Jeremiah 25:11-33.

In Jeremiah, we find proof that the "seventy weeks" of desolations have not been fulfilled as of yet, because the Lord has not yet finished or "performed his whole work upon Mount Zion and on Jerusalem". (Isa. 10:12)

Jeremiah 25:12 says. "And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the King of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for the iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations". This has not ever occurred, therefore this prophecy is yet to be fulfilled. Let’s note the perfect harmony of Isaiah 10:12 and Jeremiah 25:12. God say’s "I will punish", which means Jesus Christ of Nazareth will perform this when He comes with His armies (Rev. 19:11-16) "as birds flying", (Isa. 31:5) and "consumes the beast with the spirit of His mouth" and with "the brightness of His coming". (2Thess. 2:8)

NOTE CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING VERSES:

Jeremiah 25:29-33; Isaiah 66:15,16; Micah 5:2-15 Joel 3:1-16; Amos 1:2-15 and many other numerous scriptural references that speak of the end of the world as we now know it. When Christ Jesus shall come down and purge His land and His city, defending and delivering it from the "King of Assyria"

"The Beast" who is coming out of IRAQ.
